FOSTERING JUSt TRANSITION

A Transdisciplinary Hub

We are a transdisciplinary hub dedicated to tackling the complex challenges of sustainability in the Sahel region and beyond. We blend socio-political, ecological, and economic insights to foster action-oriented research and sustainable solutions.

Bridging science and action

Our mission is to empower communities, engage in transformative research, and promote inclusive governance. By emphasizing collaboration and innovation, we strive to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact, creating resilient communities equipped to navigate socio-ecological vulnerabilities and leverage opportunities.

Rooted in the Sahel

Located in Senegal, we are a nonprofit organization. We are rooted in an African rural living lab where transformative ideas flourish. From there, we work across diverse landscapes in West and East Africa, Asia, and Latin America. We not only study the challenges. We also actively engage in creating sustainable solutions locally that resonate globally.
